Going Home
We take great care to spend many hours stimulating and enriching our wonderful dogs. All of our puppies come up to date on their vaccinations and early preventive worming. We provide our 1 year health guarantee against genetic disorders. They have a health record that goes home with them and an entire health folder with some information about mom and dad, information about rabies vaccine, the food they are currently used to and other little goodies.
They go home with a bag of gifts from us, toothbrush, collar, leash, clean up kit and more. Things will change as we are able to get them but they are like our kids so we love to spoil them.
With many years of animal husbandry experience and nearly a decade of mentorship before starting our own breeding program, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies from parents with health clearances. We believe that responsible breeding is a thoughtful, lifelong process, and we are always here as a resource for our puppy families. Our goal is to ensure every puppy finds a loving, permanent home and that our buyers feel supported every step of the way.
Our Standard Puppy Contract
This contract is provided for informational purposes only. The final, binding agreement will be reviewed and signed in person at the time of purchase. Please note that certain clauses may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis to accommodate special circumstances, with any changes discussed and agreed upon with the buyer in advance.
THIS PUPPY IS GUARANTEED AS FOLLOWED:
Health Guarantee:
At the time of sale, this puppy is representative of its breed and is structurally and mentally suited as a companion dog, sold as a pet only. No guarantee is made regarding breeding ability, and spaying or neutering is recommended at 6 months of age or by one year at the latest. Adult size is an estimate.
This puppy is guaranteed for 5 business days against any genetic health irregularities. The buyer is required to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian during this period (at the buyer’s expense). I am not responsible for any dental work (braces, teeth extraction) or cosmetic surgery.
If, during the first vet visit, the puppy is found to have a minor illness or problem (coccidia, giardia, diarrhea, etc.), I will pay for corrective medications necessary, not to exceed the price of the puppy. This applies to medication only; any tests or procedures are the buyer’s responsibility. In all cases, a letter from the attending veterinarian is required.
After the 5 business day period, all monies paid on the puppy are non-refundable. No other guarantee is given unless the puppy is found to have a genetic health problem during the first year that causes a shortened lifespan. In such cases, a replacement puppy will be offered, but no monies will be refunded.
Return Policy:
If, for any reason other than a medical issue covered by our health guarantee, the buyer is unable to keep the puppy, the seller requests that the buyer contact the seller immediately. The seller does not accept returns of puppies except in cases covered by the health guarantee. However, the seller will make every reasonable effort to assist the buyer in responsibly re-homing the puppy.
If the buyer chooses to return the puppy to the seller for any reason not covered under the health guarantee, no refund or reimbursement of the purchase price shall be given. This is because the seller must assume full responsibility for the puppy’s care, including a mandatory quarantine period (typically 4–6 weeks) to protect the health of the seller’s other dogs and puppies.
The seller’s genetic health guarantee remains valid for the puppy’s first year, regardless of change in ownership, provided the seller is notified of the new owner’s contact information. The seller’s medication guarantee does not transfer to subsequent owners.
If you are ever unable to care for your puppy, please reach out to us first. We are always here to help and want to ensure the best possible outcome for your puppy’s future.
Vaccination Policy:
Rabies should be given separately. You are responsible for all other care your vet recommends.
Puppies are susceptible to many airborne viruses until their immune system in fully developed. I do not recommend taking your puppy to ANY public places where other animals roam, play and are present until your puppy has completed its series of puppy shots. This includes pet stores. Parvo is airborne and we take great care not to expose our pups to any outside diseases and would like you to do the same until the 2nd shot has settled. This is for the safety of your pet as animal feces & other dogs can harbor diseases and parasites that can harm your puppy. Of course they can be around your dog and your friends dogs who are up to date on their shots.
The rabies information sheet as required by the State of Colorado I included in your puppy packet. Please understand at 4 months your puppy should have this vaccination. Any continuing vaccinations recommended by your vet is your responsibility as a good dog owner
Please call with any questions. Your puppy and it’s health is very important to us.
