Who We Are:

Stardust Acres is run by two Colorado Natives, Lori and Karl Gurtler. We are located in Peyton, Colorado on the rolling Eastern Plains. We breed only a couple times a year. We lovingly raise our puppies to develop their individual personalities.

When we are not raising our wonderful little bundles of joy, we are home crafters, laser engravers, avid gardeners, amateur photographers, automotive enthusiasts and rockhounds. We love to combine our passions and explore our wonderful State.

Why the name ‘Stardust Acres’?

Living on Colorado's Eastern Plains means incredible night skies, and our family has watched countless meteors streak overhead across generations. We even found a few meteorite pieces right here while building the house. When searching for a name, nothing fit better than ‘Stardust Acres’. A few acres of home sprinkled with a bit of stardust.
